It was quiet on “The Block”this morning, after the five-alarm fire that roared for hours Monday afternoon, though business in Baltimore’s red light district.
The only sound? Christmas music coming from The Hustler Club, in the Gayety Theater, across Baltimore Street from the site of yesterday’s inferno. The song?
“Here Comes Santa Claus.”
