I also just noticed that the Canton Elvis has no arms. Certainly that is cause for tax relief as well. Is that why Venus de Milo was thus? To save on taxes?

Maybe that's why someone left the cake out in the rain... A melted cake takes up less space. Tax relief !!!!!!!!!

According to today's Sun article, Flamingo-gate was not about art or kitsch or minor privileges, it was about the shape of the flamingo: Which two dimensional polygon does it best resemble, a rectangle or a triangle? In effect, Whiting got the tax discount because she - or rather the flamingo - stuck her neck out. The neck is apparently the body part that caused the change in the geometrical ruling from rectangle to triangle.

I would conclude from this that the City was thus "thinking outside the box", except a box is a three dimensional entity, and here we are still thinking in only two dimensions. If we were to truly think outside the box, we'd need to go to a polyhedral tax structure.
