Board of Estimates approves $581K for more digital meters
On Wednesday, the Board of Estimates approved $581K for 75 additional EZ Park meters in Baltimore, according to the Daily Record.
The new meters, which are solar-powered and accept credit cards in addition to coins, will continue to replace the traditional coin-only meters that take up more parking space as well as “offer a cleaner look,” Parking Authority spokesperson Tiffany James told the Daily Record.
The new EZ Park meters will bring the city’s digital meter count to 800.
